Key Responsibilities

I was the Project Manager and Team Lead for a cross-disciplinary team of 7 in the end-to-end development. The project was created from ideation to final delivery in response to stakeholder requirements, incorporating the full project life cycle within a 4-month timeline. Our team conducted two rounds of user testing to ensure usability, functionality, and client alignment.

These were some of my responsibilities:

  • Managed a cross-functional team of 7 developers, guiding the project from concept to delivery.

  • Created and communicated project schedules, sprint plans, product backlog and milestone roadmaps.

  • Managed sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; tracked progress, removed blockers, and implemented process improvements.

  • Maintained clear communication with stakeholders by delivering weekly updates, ensuring transparency on project status, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

  • Developed project documentation, including Team Charter, Project Charter, Meeting Minutes, and deliverables archive.

  • Organized 2 usability tests, analyzed feedback, and iterated on design to improve the final product.

  • Identified potential risks, developed contingency plans, and ensured team alignment with the scope.

  • Encouraged team collaboration, resolved teammate conflict, and supported new leads in their roles.

  • Coordinated the handoff of the completed, documented, and client-approved VR prototype, ensuring quality and readiness.

Lessons Learnt

  1. Make every task accountable to individuals. sssssMore deliberate and transparent task delegation after each sprint Creating clearer documentation on updated backlogs and task ownership

  2. Be Flexible.

  3. Dont hesitate to ask for help.
